The school program includes morning lectures on general aspects:
  • multipolar refinement and analysis of the data quality;
  • deformation density analysis, analysis of the refined model;
  • quantum theory of atoms in molecules and topological analysis;
  • evaluation of electrostatic interaction energies between molecules and lattice properties from a multipolar model.
Afternoon hands-on sessions will be carried out using XD2006 and selected examples for both beginners and advanced students. The program, test exercises and lectures will be distributed at the workshop. Students are expected to come with their laptops. PC/laptop renting will be possible for students who cannot bring a computer.

Prices: depending on the success of raising funds, we expect to maintain the students' fee as low as possible (hopefully below 150 euro). A limited number of travel grants will be available (priority will be given to students coming from developing countries outside Europe and to early applications).
